The beans originate from renowned highland regions in East Africa and Indonesia: from Sidamo in Ethiopia, around Mount Kenya, and from the Indonesian island of Java. At altitudes of 1,350 to 1,600 meters, the coffee cherries ripen slowly – ideal conditions for particularly complex and clear flavors.

After harvesting, the beans are carefully washed and then sun-dried. This gentle processing method brings structure to the aroma, accentuates the fine fruity notes, and ensures a clean, elegant cup profile.
