Our handmade espresso cups in a modern cylindrical shape combine timeless design with special ceramic craftsmanship. The clear, straightforward shape feels comfortable in the hand and perfectly showcases the espresso, both in taste and appearance.

The basic shape is created by pouring liquid clay into specially made plaster molds (slip casting). While still damp, colored engobes – colored clay slip – are carefully worked into the surface. By gently mixing different shades, natural marbling with soft, flowing transitions is created. Thus, no two cups are alike – each piece is truly unique.

After the first firing, the inside is finished with a gently shiny, food-safe glaze. It provides a smooth surface, is pleasant to use, and ideal for daily espresso enjoyment. The outside remains deliberately organically structured, beautifully highlighting the individual color gradients.

Slight variations in color, pattern, and filling volume are characteristic of this artisanal production and emphasize the unique character of each espresso cup.

All glazes and engobes used have corresponding declarations of conformity and are, of course, food-safe.
