Our cappuccino cups are meticulously hand-crafted, combining traditional ceramic artistry with a modern, serene aesthetic. Each cup is created by us through a combination of throwing, casting, and modeling – an elaborate process that gives each piece its individual character.

The basic shape is created by pouring liquid clay into plaster molds (slip casting). While still damp, colored engobes – pigmented clay slip – are applied to the surface. Careful blending of several color tones creates natural marbling with soft, flowing transitions. No two patterns are alike – each cappuccino cup is a hand-crafted unique piece.

After the first firing, the inside is finished with a gently shimmering glaze. It is food-safe, pleasantly smooth, and ideal for daily use with coffee, cappuccino, or tea. The matte, organically textured exterior with its natural color gradients provides a harmonious contrast and makes each cup a stylish eye-catcher.

Since each cup is hand-crafted and coated with different glazing techniques, minimal deviations in shape, size, color, and pattern are completely normal and explicitly intended. The capacity also varies slightly – it is approximately 240 ml and may differ slightly depending on the piece. This is precisely what constitutes the charm of genuine hand-craftsmanship and underscores the unique character of each individual cup.

Naturally, all glazes and glazing techniques used have a corresponding declaration of conformity and are suitable for food contact.
