While still damp, colored engobes – colored clay slip – are carefully worked into the surface. By gently mixing different shades, natural marbling with soft, flowing transitions is created. Thus, no two cups are alike – each piece is truly unique.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"1278\"\u003eAfter the first firing, the inside is finished with a gently shiny, food-safe glaze. It provides a smooth surface, is pleasant to use, and ideal for daily espresso enjoyment.
